Canberra welcomed media and incentive group buyers from Indonesia last week to show them the experiences on offer in Australia’s Capital city prior to attending Tourism Australia’s incentive showcase in Cairns, Australia Next. In partnership with Tourism Australia’s dedicated business events unit,  Business Events Australia, the Canberra Convention Bureau and its members showed what Canberra can offer for incentive travel. For four days and three nights, the group of seven were shown some of Canberra’s best experiences and venues that would appeal to an Indonesian audience.

Professional Conference Organisers (PCO’s) from around Australia came to Canberra this month for a wintry tour to ‘Uncover Canberra’. For the next 3 days, these 18 PCO famil delegates were shown a selection of Canberra’s business events venues and unique experiences with the aim of opening their hearts and minds to having their conferences, exhibitions and tradeshows in Australia’s capital city.
