The Shine Dome (Australian Academy of Science)

The Australian Academy of Science’s Shine Dome is unique in the world. It has been Canberra's landmark since 1959, and is included on the National Heritage List. Recently refurbished, the Shine Dome has excellent acoustics and is equipped with the latest technology. It is a short walk from hotels, tourist attractions and city shops. The main auditorium, suitable for lectures, has a total capacity of 234, while the adjacent rooms are ideal for smaller meetings, formal meals for display areas.
